Join us for a gentle, women-led hike designed for moms and their littles! We’ll take a short, scenic trek up Parks Pond Bluff, perfect for all levels, with time to explore, connect, and enjoy the view.

Look at this adorable little hiker in training! For being just two years old, she did amazing today. So proud of this little munchkin!

We hiked Mount Waldo in Frankfort, starting at the Quarry side. At the summit, I split off and went down the south side trail—my first time on that part of the mountain. The sun was very warm on that side, and it felt like spring was really here. I climbed back up and finally caught up with them at the quarry. Side note: someone has clearly put a lot of time and effort into that trail—it’s in great shape now!

What a beautiful day to reconnect with an old friend and pick up right where we left off. I can’t wait to hike with this crew more this year.

Huge ‘thank you’ to all of the paddlers who showed up last night at @hirundowildlife for the Full Moon Paddle! Brianna, the program director at Hirundo stole the show with so many wonderful facts about the refuge 🤎 I can’t wait to pass some of those facts on to future paddlers! Although the moon seemed to be MIA, we got to see eagles and a few beavers! It is crazy how high the water is right now! Can’t wait to be back next month for their next full moon paddle! Let’s hope we see it this time! 😂 We had quite a few newbies join us last night and I hope to see all of you again soon!! 🦫🌕🦅
